Check out the great street theater that Jumpstart Ford and Vote Solar activists did in support of California's Proposition 87! Big Oil is kicking down a lot of money to defeat Prop 87 - but we are smart enough to simply follow the money. VOTE YES ON 87!
Grannies Rage for Zero Emission Vehicles!
On September 30th, 2006 our friends in the Peninsula Raging Grannies Action League attended the 34th annual Electric Vehicle Rally in Palo Alto, CA. Dozens of gasoline-optional vehicles came to the rally with representatives from lots of companies and organizations all supporting electric, emissions-free transportation!
The Freedom From Oil Photo Contest had wonderful images sumbitted - and the winners of the contest (that YOU voted for) were featured in a full-page ad published in The Progressive!

The Freedom From Oil Action Camp was a huge success!
In America's Heartland, 100 activist, organizers, trainers, experts, oil affected and climate impacted communities and others attended the camp to build tools to put pressure on America's biggest oil addicts. Even President Bush and Big Oil Executives wanted to get in the action.
South Florida raises the pressure!
On May 4th, Jumpstart Ford activists, along with Emerge Miami, Democracy for America, Greenpeace Miami, and members of the Green Party, blockaded the entrance to Maroone Ford Dealership in Fort Lauderdale in protest of Ford’s leading role in America’s oil addiction.
